　　不定式表結(jié)果，其動作發(fā)生在謂語動詞之后，往往表示未曾預(yù)料到的或令人不快的，不定式前常加only;另外，還用于too…to， enough to， never to， so / such…as to等固定結(jié)構(gòu)中。現(xiàn)在分詞表示的結(jié)果，是伴隨謂語動詞的發(fā)生而產(chǎn)生的自然結(jié)果(同時發(fā)生)，有時在前面加上thus，謂語動詞與現(xiàn)在分詞的動作是因果關(guān)系。如：

　　1. The news reporters hurried to the airport， only ________ the film stars had left. (福建卷)

　　A. to tell B. to be told

　　C. telling D. told

　　【分析】答案選B.only提醒我們要用不定式表示結(jié)果;又因為the news reporters與tell是被動關(guān)系，所以要用不定式的被動式。hurried to the airport與to be told是先后發(fā)生的兩個動作，并沒有因果關(guān)系，only to be told… =and was told…
